Welcome to Heartbreak Club!
Heartbreak Club is a creative space for anyone who has something to say about heartbreak - whether you’re actively going through it, or have lingering thoughts you’d like to explore.
Enjoy a complimentary drink from Fresh as you write what you need to let out. A letter. A poem. A feeling with no name. I’ll provide the tools - all you need to bring is yourself and your heart.
This night is about more than just writing. It's about community. Heartbreak Club is a space to sit with your story, connect with others who’ve felt their own version of it, and gently bring what’s often unspoken and isolating into the open.
Toward the end of the night, there will be an open mic for anyone who feels ready to share. No pressure, just an invitation.
What Should I Expect?
- Pens, markers, and paper to write freely
- Optional prompts if you need a nudge
- A keepsake envelope + special paper to take your final piece home
- Complimentary drink from Fresh with your ticket
- An open mic to close the evening (only if you’d like to share)
You don’t have to be heartbroken to join, just open to reflecting on what it’s meant to you.
What happens if I can’t make it?
All tickets are final sale and non-refundable. If you experience an emergency, please reach out to me directly by email.
Where can I park?
There is street parking available nearby, or you can park at 1033 Queen Street West for around $7. It’s about a 6-minute walk to Fresh.
I’m not currently going through heartbreak - can I still come?
Absolutely! Heartbreak Club is for anyone who has something to say about heartbreak - whether it’s fresh, long past, or somewhere in between.
How long is the event?
The event runs from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM.
